The Mad Necromancer's Basement is a small system-neutral TTRPG supplement of 24 pages, spread over 3 booklets/brochures: a 12 page dungeon booklet, containing very detailed maps, a 8 page bestiary booklet, introducing 21 weird monsters and a 4 page inventory brochure, listing 16 strange objects & potions.
The booklets/brochures dimensions are 7 inches by 8.5 inches (17.75 cm x 21.5 cm).
The Dungeon Booklet
This 12 page booklet contains the dungeon map, detailed descriptions, lots of illustrations, some random tables and an introduction story (backstory).
The Inventory Brochure
The inventory brochure contains 16 bizarre objects & potions, spread on 4 pages.
The Bestiary Booklet
The bestiary booklet contains 21 strange monsters, spread on 8 pages.
System-neutral & 5e Stats
We developed a simple decimal system of statistics, which makes it easier to adapt monsters to all types of role-playing games. This system is based on the relativity between the different monsters present in a bestiary, which allows the Game Master to have a fairly precise idea of the strength and abilities of a creature. In addition, this system allows the monsters to be adapted to the player levels. That said, digital versions of all monster statistics are also freely available for 5th Edition and other popular TTRPGs.
